My Philosophy

Our life experiences can have a profound impact on our wellbeing, whether positive or negative. Navigating through life experiences can be challenging and we all experience psychological distress in our lives. I see therapy as a path to self-discovery but also as an opportunity to cultivate kindness and compassion towards ourselves that we can so often neglect to do.

My Approach

I work using an integrated approach drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), third wave CBT approaches such as mindfulness and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy as well as systemic ways of thinking, adapting therapy to the needs of my client. I very much have my client in the centre, working together and collaborating to ensure we can meet your goals together. I believe it is essential to establish this effective working relationship drawing on each other’s expertise. Therefore, I strive to create a safe and comfortable therapy space.

Motivation

I am extremely passionate about working therapeutically with others. It is an honour to connect with others in such a way to hear about their life experiences and to work together to make meaningful changes. It is incredibly rewarding to be a part of people’s journey.
