Articles on the following pages are not strictly related to therapy, but approach the world of the emotions form a variety of different scientific slants.
Schools of thought about human emotional issues have branched out and developed enormously since Freud's Viennese heyday over a century ago. Most importantly a proper scientific approach has been brought to bear in an accelerating investigation of the human mind.
Evolutionary science, comparative anthropology, neuroscience, among other disciplines—each has something important to contribute in helping us understand the world of our emotions and how we can learn to live in balance with them.
