Fees & Payment

Session fees
Individuals . . . £89 per session
Couples . . . . £119 per session
There are many therapists and counsellors who charge more – especially in our central locations – and many others charging less. We believe our fees fairly reflect the value of our service, no less our experience and training.
Some therapists offer a sliding scale with fees depending on income. Instead, we accrue a proportion of our fees to fund social enterprise projects to help people on low incomes gain access to psychological services.
But the value of our service is determined by its effectiveness in helping you to overcome the emotional difficulties you face. And so we measure our effectiveness by asking for your regular feedback on how well therapy is helping you. Please see our article: Learning from your feedback
Making payments
Once you commit to a regular course of therapy, we ask for you always to pay for one session in advance. Payment can be made either at the end of the session with a cheque, or with cash if necessary – or via bank transfer when you get back home. Once your therapist knows you better they may arrange for you to make payments for more than one session at a time.
Currently we cannot accept card payments, though we will shortly be adding this facility.
Health insurance cover
A number of our therapists are registered with major health insurance companies. Please ask us about this when you get in touch.
